Wight sets program records, FHS blanks BG

BOYS LACROSSE BOWLING GREEN – Cam Wight scored seven goals, had an assist, and added 10 ground balls as Findlay's boys lacrosse team kept rolling, shutting out Bowling Green 17-0. The seven goals and eight points were each single-game program records. Henry Iten added three goals and four assists for the Trojans, who improved to 6-1, 3-0 in the Northern Lakes League. Findlay is on a five game winning streak. MJ Greenawalt registered two goals and two assists for FHS; Will Hammer found the back of the net twice and Draven Wilson had a goal and an assist, as did Jacob Meier. Tate Sprague contributed an assist for Findlay, while Griffin Lane won 9 of 17 face offs, while goalkeeper Cashel West made 17 saves. Bowling Green dropped to 3-5, 0-4 in the NLL.
