Trojans beat Perrysburg in NLL softball

FINDLAY 7 PERRYSBURG 3 FINDLAY – Eight of the nine batters in Findlay's lineup lashed at least one hit, five of them drove in runs and five scored when the Trojans used overall depth and good balance to beat Perrysburg 7-3 in a Northern Lakes League Buckeye Division softball game at Babcock Field. Addie Sprang, hitting .667 this season and leading the Trojans in home runs (5) and RBI (23), singled, doubled and drove in a run. Lola Spieles also had a single and a double. Ryan Boes, hitting .462, and Delaney Harris added RBI singles, Davinee Harris (.562, 4 HR) doubled in a run, and Avalon Sprang singled and drove in two runs. Findlay led just 3-1 after five innings, but scored four times in the bottom of the sixth to create a comfortable cushion for pitchers Emily Cole (5 IP, 5 hits, 2 runs) and Natalie Steffes (2 IP, 2 hits, 1 run) Yesenia You, Aly Seuberling and Kylynn Thomas had two hits each for Perrysburg (5-6, 1-1 NLL).
