1 dead, more injures, from Sunday morning vehicle crash

An Englewood vehicle passenger was pronounced deceased, and others injured, at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Union Township Sunday morning. A news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Rondel Marsh, 49, of Englewood, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the 2:59 a.m. crash while Jeanine Marsh, 51, was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS with non-life-threatening injuries and Ryan Marsh, 19, was treated on the scene for minor injuries. Besly Sidelca, 31, of Findlay was treated at the scene and Samenda Moreau, 21, of Findlay, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco EMS for minor injuries. The news release said a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Jeanine, was northbound on I75 near mile post 145 when 2021 Dodge Charger, driven by Moreau, was also driving northbound on I75 approaching the Silverado, approaching at a high rate of speed and striking the Silverado in the rear pushing it off the right side of the roadway and where it overturned before coming to a rest. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash, and the crash remains under investigation, with the possibility that more charges will be filed at a later date. All the occupants in the Chevrolet Silverado were wearing their seatbelts. It is unknown at this time if seatbelts were used by the driver and passenger of the Dodge Charger. Assisting on scene were the Southwestern Hancock County Joint Fire, Ohio Department of Public Safety, and R and A Towing.
