4th of July parade looking for entries FINDLAY — The Findlay Amvets Post 21 and Sons Of The Amvets are looking for "any and all businesses" to join in on the parade for the festivities by putting a float, car, or having representatives walk in the parade to celebrate. Entry in the parade line up is free. Those looking to be added to the parade festivities can find a sign up page online at https://visitfindlay.com/fourth-of-july-parade. Hancock County Farmers' Market returns FINDLAY — The Hancock County Farmers' Market returns for the 2026 season on Thursday, May 7, bringing fresh, local food and a welcoming weekly gathering space back to downtown Findlay. Held each Thursday from May 7 through Oct. 1, from 4-6 p.m., the market takes place at the Jebbett/Rowmark Festival Grounds on the campus of the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, 200 West Main Cross Street. The weekly market features a lineup of local growers and producers. Visitors can expect a seasonal mix of farm products, baked goods, honey, and locally grown flowers, along with favorites like kettle corn and lemon shake-ups. Knife and tool sharpening services are also available. New additions are in place for the start of the season. The market offers token options for the Ohio Direction Card, along with debit and credit, making it easier for visitors to shop. Special event days throughout the season highlight key moments in the growing year, including:• Market in Bloom: Opening Day — May 7• Power Your Summer (Power of Produce Starts) — June 4• High Summer Harvest (Peak Season) — July 16• Second Season & Market Baskets — September 3 Wyandot Sunday Speaker Series dates announced UPPER SANDUSKY — Wyandot Mission Church invites the community to its Summer 2026 Sunday Speaker Series, beginning May 3. Services will be held each Sunday at 8 a.m. and will feature a variety of guest speakers offering messages of faith, history, and community. This annual summer series continues the tradition of gathering at the historic Wyandot Mission Church for reflection, inspiration, and fellowship.
