Boys LacrosseORANGE 15FINDLAY 9OLENTANGY – Olentangy Orange overcame a brutal stretch of losses with one of its best offensive games of the year and beat Findlay 15-9 in a boys lacrosse contest at Pioneer Stadium.Orange had lost seven straight and was just 2-11 heading into the contest. Over their last four games, the Pioneers had lost twice in overtime and twice by two goal margins.Findlay took a 2-1 lead after the first period of Saturday's game. Olentangy scored five goals in both the second and third periods, though, and finished with its second-highest goal total of the season.MJ Greenawalt pumped in three goals for Findlay, Will Hammer had two and Jaron Clark, Draven Wilson, Jake Neat and Hudson Yeager added one each. Clark also led the Trojans with four assists.Griffin Lane was 15-of-26 on face-offs, and goalie Cashel West made 14 saves.Findlay High (9-6) wraps up regular season play this week, hosting Bowling Green (4-11) on Tuesday, traveling to Sylvania Northview (1-10) on Thursday and hosting Perrysburg (11-2) on Saturday.The Trojans will then prepare for the OHSAA Division I tournament beginning May 13-14. Brayden Gilts and Canyn Schofield pitched the first 4-2/3 innings, with Mason allowing just one hit the rest of the way. Softball BLUFFTON 13ARLINGTON 3BLUFFTON – Bluffton jumped ahead 5-0 in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back in rolling to a 13-3 softball win over Arlington.Bluffton's Macy Schaadt was 2-for-2 with a single, a double and two walks, drove in one run and scored three times.
