A Findlay woman remained in the Wood County Jail in Bowling Green Monday afternoon following her arrest in connection with a traffic crash late Saturday night on Park Avenue, in front of Fostoria Junior/Senior High School. Amber Marie Nicole Goodwin, 38, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and reckless operation and is scheduled to appear this morning in Tiffin/Fostoria Municipal Court in Fostoria. A report from the Fostoria Police Division said Goodwin was driving west on Park Avenue when her car struck a utility pole ahead of the intersection with Wainwright Drive. The vehicle continued into the school's parking lot, hitting a stop sign, a curb, a school sign and a bush in the process, police said. Goodwin was taken to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital for a medical checkup before being taken to the jail.
